I'm sure most of us saw the brief article on Alex McNutt's passing in this mornings PJS. Those of us old enough to remember the 60s on the hilltop certainly remember Alex's great contribution to BU basketball history. As noted in the article he was the 2nd of three great BU players to come out of Benton Harbor, Michigan (Walker and Bowen the others). I remember when I first saw Alex play he was kind of a suprise because the local media had built up two other guards in Conklin and Westendorf but after Alex and Tom Campbell hit the court nobody remembers much about the others! Anyway I'm certainly sadened about Alex's passing and extend my sincerest condolences to Alex's family!
