Based on DC's advice I called the Renaissance directly, talked to their reservations department and got March 4-8 at 116.00 a night. They allow for cancellation. I asked for the MVC/Bradley block and had no issues in reserving the room.

How much did it come up to with taxes, etc?

116.00 Room

17.97 taxes (est. Gov't taxes and fees...according to my statement)
= 133.97 a night

PARKING

$14.00/night... self park (park your own car in the parking deck)
-OR-
$25.00 Valet parking/night

You can try to park on the street but it is not very easy to find a parking spot. I would ask someone at the hotel about this to make sure there are no rules or regulations prohibiting all night parking on the streets in St. Louis....I don't think their is.)

EDIT: Houston beat me to it.

It's the drinking while driving that could make that proposition a lot more expensive. I prefer walking distance or a cheap cab ride.
