Another nice article about Darrell Brown

What a great representative for Bradley University. You are definitely a champion, Darrell Brown! Thank you for four years of memories!

A great attitude! Deserved, along with Nate and Koch, to have at least 1 more game and like DB's Mom said more than 1. Hopefully they'll be able to figure out something for some type of graduation ceremony. DB finished his BU career with 1860 points, 5th all time, 491 assists, 5th all time and played 4,320 minutes, 3rd all time. To me from that standpoint he's a no brainer BU Hall of Famer and might just get that number retired. He will be hard to replace. Thanks DB and good luck in whatever you do!

Very well said and DB did it so quietly. One of the best careers by a BU player but we never heard any complaints by him and was never in trouble at least that anyone heard about. After the bad years we had DB and company brought respectability back to Central Illinois.

Darryl will be sooo hard to replace. It always seemed when our backs were against the wall it was usually Darryl who picked us up. More than anything I think that is what we will miss next year. We have other good players but we will have to manage without that “go to” guy unless someone appears.

Yes, we'll probably see a slightly different kind of offense next year. Unless we land another do-it-all point guard like Darrell who can set up the offense on every possession, and take the shots when available, we'll probably see several different guys share that role. With Nolan and McAdoo, along with the return of Danya, Ville, and Antonio, we'll see more dribble-drives, high-screens and give-and-go plays, and kickout passes. There will be more options and more sharing of the scoring without DB and Nate, and it remains to be seen who will develop as the go-to guys.
