That leaves our backcourt really thin with the other suspensions

Dave Reynolds, however, tweets
"That leaves Tramique Sutherland as only guard left on the team"

...what happened to Omari Grier & Jackson Kane??

Say what you want about geno, but any coach would be hard pressed to win with what he has left.

To correct an earlier tweet: Omari Grier and walk-on Jackson Kane are other available guards for Braves tonight besides Tramique Sutherland.

I agree. It's kind of like the 2010-11 season, don't you think? 8)

Only I would not compare losing Fields, Bell, and Jones for a few games to the loss of 2 All-MVC starters on that team (Brown & Maniscalco) for virtually the entire year. But some people did blame the coach, and he ended up losing his job.

and so will this one...

I have always thought most mid-major rosters are impossible to stack deep enough to withstand the loss of key players -
so yes, I think injuries can be part of why BU is playing bad, but on the other side - nobody can doubt that we have played bad no matter who has been available and we have little to prove that we did BETTER when we had a full roster.

Quite the contrary - when we played down three players at Indiana State, we looked and played exactly like we did when we were at full strength.
So it seems not to matter much who we have playing -

we lost at home to Drake with everyone available - shooting 39% and 26% from the arc
... then we lose just the same on the road when 3 key guys are suspended shooting 39% and 26.5% from the arc!!!

so there can't be a whole lot of optimism to get our main guys back when we don't do any different with them as we do without them!!!!
