Anyone else feel the earthquake?

I was just getting a little. Sorry it shook the whole state...

Is the Field House Still Standing?

Is the Field House Still Standing?

Anybody notice any damage at the Field House during the quake?

I'm surprised it woke me up, but it did. I thought for sure at first it was going to be a Tornado, but after looking outside, I thought well maybe it was an earthquake. After pondering that for about 10 seconds, I was back asleep til about 7:30.:-D

Jim Les told Kirk Wessler there was NO earthquake but we are keeping our options open in case something develops...but as of now all natural disasters are out indefinetly and we are not expecting any until the end of spring classes when that could change things.

Stay tuned.....

Now you've done it! Now if we have a disaster and a couple of Fans here read this, they won't take cover! Great One, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The early-morning earthquake did wake me up, but I'm sure I just felt another one just a few minutes ago! This one only lasted a few seconds, but the windows rattled and my floor was moving!

Yes, we just had another tremor about 10 minutes ago. I am in downtown Peoria and I was on the phone with someone in Bartonville, and we both felt the shaking simultaneously.

Definitely woke me up. A lamp in our bedroom was swaying pretty dramatically.

Live in downtown Chicago. Apartment is a big cement building, STILL felt it and woke up. I thought I was dreaming for a moment.

I remember the 1968 and 1987 quakes, but I slept through this one. If I remember right, 1968 was late morning and 1987 was early evening. I know where I was at both times.

I was definitely still awake at the time it hit and didn't feel a thing and neither did my friend that was still awake. Same thing goes for the tremor. I'm actually kinda disappointed since I have never felt an earthquake before and I feel like I missed out.
