I'm just having some fun T...its all good. I'm just antsy for some news.
 
How about threads on how Jamar Smith was actually a hero and anyone questioning him or the U of I is an idiot and or a hater? That those should get us through these days waiting on a word about a new big man for our program. :)
 
Just a guess by me.......maybe there will be no announcement on the new guy until another scholie opens up ....at least to the public? :-o
 
That was my point....someone coming in might not make it either...so at this juncture it's all speculation....but we should hear something pretty soon with spring signing coming up! :wink:
 
And who's scholarship is it????...perhaps DRuff??? Have we REALLY heard officially that Ruff is coming back (and what qualifies as official?). I believe we're going to be hearing the official news on this soon - and I don't think it's going to be good news.

Do you know something we don't know? I have talked to a couple insiders, and they have never heard anything to suggest DR won't be back.
 
Well......he sat at our table for the post-season banquet....the coach's announced DR coming back and he told me he was coming back next year? :? That's good enough for me! :wink:

Wasn't Cole-scott announced before Buycks didn't qualify though....BU obviously offered and he accepted the night of the NIT game.

I'm so confused.... :lol:
 
I think they already knew Buycks had not qualified; Ruffin has indicated that he expects to be back; by the way what is the official spring signing date as it is usually a little over a week from the championship game?

Possibly but I heard they were surprised. Either way they OBVIOUSLY were recruiting before they new anything. Maybe thats SOP.

Somebody wrote that their kid took the test the same weekend as Buycks and had the results a week before the Cole-Scott announcement. My guess is the BU coaching staff was aware prior to the signing.
