I just received word of a special game-day deal from Bradley for any and all students who want to take part and watch the Bradley-Ohio U. game Monday, March 24.

This deal is available to any student, not just Red Pride group members--

Bradley v. Ohio ??“ 7pm, Monday, March 24th
- Student Tickets Just $1
- Buses will run starting at 5:30 from Student Center (FREE)
- Free pizza and soda at the Student Center from 5:30-6:45 (courtesy of Papa John's)
- Tickets will be available at the Williams and Geisert Hall cafeterias from 11:30-1:00 and at the Fieldhouse Ticket Office from 9 am-5 pm
- WEAR RED, BE LOUD, BE PROUD!

No reason why Bradley should not get at least 1000 students to the game with this kind of promotion; hope some students just don"t show up to have free pizza and drink and then not attend the game.

They need to make it that you have to have a ticket to the game to get the food. I hope that is how it works.

Students have to pay??

Students have to pay??

Does the Bradley Student Body have to pay to attend the basketball games? Whats the cost? Students at Ohio University get in free to all Home games with the showing of their Ohio University Student ID, and they have great seats, Student Section is right down the full court line. The Student section is called The O'zone.

BU students pay $1, and get a free bus ride to the Civic Center. The arena is a few miles from campus. They are located with the band at the visitor's end of the court.

As of noon yesterday, the nice man at the field house ticket counter said they would be 500+ students at the game. Not sure if that was actual tickets sold or what they're expecting.

Aren't there are lot of students returning today? If so, they should sell a lot of student tickets tomorrow.

$1 for every game?

$1 for every game?

Bradley Students pay $1 for every Bradley Basketball game with a FREE Bus ride? or just a $1 for this game.

I've never understood the 1.00 charge. Its a great deal but it makes you look cheap. IF your going to discount the tickets to a dollar why not go the extra step...increase participation and make it free.

I know a dollar...free whats the difference. To me its easier to mkt. People love freebies.....ever see all the cr@p people take home from all those shows at the Civic center. If you charged a measly dollar for that stuff no one would take anything home.

BOTH end zones should be open to the students. Make ONE red and the other White. Make it a competition. The loudest "zone" gets the after game party.

Just a thought. With that said congrats to BU for promoting this game and getting the students there.

2 Reasons;

Percieved Value - If a ticket costs SOMETHING even a dollar it creates a demand for it, there are a limited number.

Orginization - If tickets have no cost there is nothing keeping students from just getting tons every game and never going, it would make it incredibly difficult to maintain accurate numbers or to project how many students would be attending.

Sure there is. First off, tickets have ALWAYS been a dollar and there have ALWAYS been busses. They're just adding free pizza for an hour. 1,000 students is 25% campus and to be honest, students just dont care about the CBI/NIT. Not only that but its the day after easter. Most students just skip class and come back late Monday or early Tuesday.

This is more about supporting Bradley which is their school then the CBI, what else is there to do on a monday night?

I find blanket statements like this to be offensive, at best... There are a lot of us who live and die Bradley, whether that be basketball, other sports, or academics.

I'll vouch for at least 2 of the 3, what are these academics you speak of? ;)

I too returned today and will be buying my ticket tomorrow, can't wait to be back in the front row for at least one more game!

I don't know about these 'academics' either, I think it's what you do between basketball games and/or bar crawls? Seriously though, I'll see you front row, tomorrow night! It'll be great to have a full compliment of students!

And to all students:
Let's all get ridiculously loud tomorrow night... I'm talking how loud we were against Michigan State. Everyone bring a friend or two and be prepared to lose your voice in the worst way..

Lose your voice. It will come back, I promise
