audio broadcast??!!

Why is there no link to the audio on bubraves???!!! Dying to hear the last seconds! Am I missing something? BU folks . . . . PLEASE get the broadcast on for us out-of-staters! It's 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I guess I'll be the only one to respond to my own post (what else is new?).

If Bradley wants to be a big-time program, it is UNACCEPTABLE that its media options are so archaic.

TWENTY YEARS AGO, we could all listen to the midnight re-broadcast of any BU game.

Here we are in 2010, and it's still going to be midnight (IF WE'RE LUCKY) before we can hear a re-broadcast.

I don't mean to be mean. But I think even Dave Snell, you would agree that this failure to evolve is a media nightmare.

Wish I could have heard the end of the game tonight before signing off. But because of BU's media incompetence, will have to wait til tomorrow.
 
You can actually listen to live audio broadcasts of any Bradley Basketball men's game on 1470 WMBD's website (www.1470wmbd.com) and click on the listen live link. That's what I did for today's game, and had no problems whatsoever.
 
I was just coming here to post this same complaint. I was recently moved to 2nd shift at work so i subscribed to bu.tv thinking i could watch or atleast listen to the games when I get home around midnight. The idea is not to know what happened in the game until I get home. One problem...THE GAMES ARE NEVER AVAILABLE UNTIL THE NEXT DAY OR LONGER! Of course I cant wait that long to know what happened so I always cave and come here to find out. Long story short, I dont think it is a lot to ask for atleast the audio to be made available within a couple of hours.
 
Could the delay in today's game be caused by the fact that the video wasn't on BTV? Perhaps they have to get the recording from jmpradio or WMBD first and then add it to the website.

Maybe I don't know what Im doing, but I cant find any of this year's games in the archived audio section on BUBRAVES.com:confused:
 
I sometimes find this problem too. They probably leave the responsibility up to some intern, and he/she forgets. If you go back through the years some games are actually missing!
