Authentic Basketball Jersey

I've looked everywhere for an authentic jersey but I can't find one. I figured if they were for sale anywhere, someone on this site would know about it. Can anyone give me some ideas?
 
Non-existent unless you have connections. Would be nice to see as BU auction for those one day, although I wouldn't be able to afford a jersey then! The BU Bookstore sometimes has some weak knock-offs, but if you are like me those are unappealing??¦
 
Several years ago BU had a "garage sale" of sorts. They were selling game worn jerseys. I got one of a walk on by the name of Pfrommer, from the era of Tim Bankston.

Probably about the only way to get an authentic jersey either somehow through the University or wait for this type of "auction/sale"

They might have had a garage sale last year before the Red White.
 
This is pretty much what I thought. I wish Eastbay sold them but that would require Bradley to be a BCS school. Oh well worth a shot.
 
Maybe it's something that could be brought up with the Athletic Merchandise people. I know they sell stuff at Carver and I believe that it's done seperately from the bookstore.

You might try Campustown at either mall. I know the Grand Prarie Campustown had a BU flag, allthough it was too expensive for my tastes. (But I was not comparing it to the booktore price, so it might be a little cheaper?)

The only way you'll get "authentic" ncaa hoops jerseys is if the official team manufacturer (Nike, Reebok, Adidas, etc) allows them to be produced, which they will do if they deem it profitable enough, either first party or by allowing a third party such as Champion to produce them (which that company needs to also pay proprietary fees to the design holder). And unless you are a "name" football or basketball program, unfortunately, the big company is not going to deem it profitable enough.

Most of the "replica" jerseys the bookstore had ended up on clearance after two years, so why would a company make "authentic" jerseys?

If you call the design holder, for an extremely exorbitant amount of money, they may be willing to do an individual special order (which may also require you to pay the proprietary and licensing fees for reproduction).

Otherwise, you'll just have to wait for an auction. A few years ago on eBay there were a couple maroon unis (shorts as well) from the 1997 Centennial game auctioned off.

The flags (both the "Braves" and B U ones) are the same price (as the bookstore) at Campustown stores at either mall.
