Bear's Future...ugh

Look at it this way. They got replaced a guy who cried his way out of town, quite literally, for 2 1st round picks and KO was essentially a freebie. Pretty easy guy to like if you think about it....doesn't complain, just grows neckbeards and wins football games. If Mcdaniels can make anything out of him, it's a win. Plus he's not doin half bad

Just to be sure, are you placing blame on Cutler for all the problems in chicago?
cuz it sounds like you are.

If that is the case, then lets get Caleb Hanie in there and see how a QB w/ no experience does w/ one of the worst O-Lines in the league.

It is not "just Cutler's fault." of his int. there are a handful that are flukes off of reciever's hands, some falling down, some that are TERRIBLE play calls, and some that are him throwing into triple coverage.

There is enough blame for the bears to go around. To put the blame on a QB for the entire team woe's is ignorant and absurd. The only time a QB has that much impact on a team is in college football when a QB is the leader and overall offensive producer (USC).

Bears will hopefully rethink the administration this offseason and make some big coaching moves

Um...no one in denver is even asking Simms to start, let alone crying out.

Orton is a very "capable" QB (thank you Brian Urlacher) and when you have an elite WR, great O-line, 2 Good RBs, and a smart Offensive mind calling the plays, you are gonna win games.

Well, sports talk radio, espn, and various other reports that I've heard over the past months (not recently) have indicated that there's a contingent that would love to see what Simms can do. If there isn't that discussion in Denver, then it would be the first NFL city ever....ever.....that didn't have a discussion that the backup needs to play. What's the old saying...the most popular guy in town is the backup QB? I'm not implying that Simms is better than Orton....some folks in Denver are doing that. I lived in Indy for 4 years and and heard people call for Jim Sorgy when Payton would have a couple of bad games in a row!!! It happens.

No, all the Bear's woes don't fall on Cutler's shoulders. I am more critical of Angelo than Cutler, going with the popular, "Madden" decision instead of sticking with what has worked for the Bears for decades. He gave up the house and that's naturally gonna put up some decent sized expectations. At the same time, you can't dismiss Cutler for everything. If he truly is a top 5 quarterback... Well, do you think the Bears would be 5-7 with Brees, Manning, or Brady back there? Cutler single-handily lost a few games this year (49ers) and hasn't exactly helped in most.
 
All I can say about Cutler is he has been my fantasy football QB the last 2 years... last year Denver did not run the ball but he got protection and was fantastic. This year the Bears also do not run the ball but he gets NO protection and he has been horrible.

Football games are won upfront on both sides of the ball, the Bears upfront on O is not going to win to many games.
