Big XII Conference independently taking steps to ban guys coming back from playing pro ball

The Big 12 is following the lead of the Big Ten and SEC. Yesterday, the Big Ten banned NFL players from returning and playing in football games for Big Ten schools. And shortly after the Big Ten announcement, the SEC announced a similar ban on football athletes, but also included anyone who has previously declared for professional basketball from rejoining college athletics.
And the saga continues- Just after the Big Ten, SEC, and Big 12 took steps to ban pro players from returning to college and playing another year, now another judge in Dallas has issued a restraining order blocking the NCAA and the SEC from enforcing any kind of ban-

The SEC is reported to be planning on issuing "steep discipline", including suspensions and huge fines to any coach and athletic program that accepts a pro player back on their roster, regardless of how the legal battle to ban them ends-
