Black out impressions...

haha too old for me. I just liked the feel of the field house. I was probably a minority of the students that was sad to see it go. Then again I tend to have more of an affinity to history than most others my age.

GREAT idea. Kind of like the road grey's in baseball. I always liked the White Sox grey uniforms much more than white or black. Has anyone seen our baseball roadies? I've seen the hat at the bookstore and I think it's probably the best looking one I've seen. The throwbacks from last year in grey would look sick.

many, many schools, even high schools have done alternate pink jerseys...
are they as bad or do they also qualify as "bush league" according to the expert?

A lot of professional teams utilize alternate jerseys as well. T, the person you are referring to is not an "expert" but that person thinks he is an expert!;-)
 
I see a BU 'uni' and I want it painted black. No colors anymore I want them to turn black. Maybe then I'll fade away, and not have to face the facts, BU still isn't very good even when they are wearing black...

My impressions of the Black Out?

BU got a "Black" Eye from ISU...Their offense "Blacked Out" during the second half. Good thing BU fans were wearing Black, after the game they must have been in mourning for the death of a top 3 MVC finish in the Valley this year for BU.

As far as BU being "Back in Black" unis....

BU could play in purple polka dots and 70's short shorts if that is what it would take for them to win something.....

Aw, SFP, I was just having some fun with the "black" theme, various music pieces, and BU's performance. Don't get too worked up with this

Decided to stick it into this thead on opinions of black uni's, even though the thread title was 'Black Out Impressions' - pretty general title.

Officially, I am a traditionalist...wear your colors. If the team needs to be fired up to play ISU at home with gimmick uniforms.....well, the rivalry must be more dead than I thought....

A compormise could be the warm ups....Black, Cammo, 'Rocky' Fighter Robe with hoodie, I don't care....Get creative with warm ups, but leave the unis to the home colors.

At the end of the day, this whole thread is much about nothing. Wear anything, just win.

I knew that SFP, just havin some more fun...If black is what everyone wants, why go halfway? Perhaps BU players could wear some type of black Batman/Dark Night get up for unis...:eek:
 
How about some eye black like the baseball players use for the sun, we could say it is because the light are so bright in the arena.
