Bradley is 6-3 in non-conference games, and 0-0 in MVC games. The last 4 games (2 against Valparaiso and 2 against Loyola) have been postponed. Northern Iowa is 2-7 overall, and 1-3 in the MVC. UNI had 3 non-conference games cancelled (12/12 vs. Green Bay, 12/16 at Wisconsin, and 12/19 at Marshall) due to Covid issues.

The Sunday, Jan. 10 game is at 3:00 pm in the McLeod Center on the UNI campus. It will be on ESPN+ online streaming network.

It is also on NBCSports Chicago.

The Monday, Jan. 11 game is at 7:00 pm, and is listed to be on the MVC TV Network- usually includes NBCSports Chicago and FoxSports Midwest, however, as of now, neither channel shows the Monday BU-UNI game on their schedule.
It is also on ESPN+ outside of the areas served by those networks.

UNI has had small numbers of spectators at their home games (they had attendance of 668 and 678 at their two home games against Missouri State on Dec. 27 & 28 ) , but their website does not show any tickets available to the public for the Bradley games.

Northern Iowa will not have last year's Player of the Year A.J. Green, who has missed their last 6 games with a hip injury. He underwent surgery 4 weeks ago and will miss the entire season. He averaged 22.3 ppg in the 3 games he played. In his absence, senior 6'5" guard Trae Berhow (13.8 ppg & 6.3 rpg) and redshirt junior center Austin Phyfe (12.1 ppg & 6.2 rpg) have been their top scorers and rebounders. Their only other double-digit scorer is 5'11" freshman guard Bowen Born, who has started every game and averages 11.1 ppg. Born is the top scoring freshman in the MVC

I think only parents/family allowed for this game against N Iowa.

LOL.... i’d like to put my name in the hat for a “stand in parent” for any BU players who have no family attending BU road games.. I’d even PAY for the ticket... willing to travel anywhere just to watch some games live!

Anyone know what Mediacom channels the Bradley games are on?

The Sunday 3:00 pm game is not scheduled to be on any TV channel. It's only scheduled to be on ESPN+ online streaming network.
https://bradleybraves.com/news/2021/...hern-iowa.aspx

ESPN+ requires a subscription, but many more Bradley games this season will be on ESPN+, so it might be worth subscribing if you want to watch future games. It costs $5.99 per month, and can be cancelled at any time.
Here is where you subscribe- https://secure.web.plus.espn.com/acc...alregistration

There is lots of content on ESPN, including many other NCAA men's basketball games, women's NCAA basketball (including most Bradley womens' games), Premiere League soccer, and much more.
Bradley fans would only need to subscribe for 2 months, since the season is over in 2 months. To cancel, click on the avatar in the upper right of the WatchESPN.com page, and select "Manage Subscriptions". We'll post a reminder on Bradleyfans to help fans remember to cancel after the final game.

The Xfinity schedule shows the Sunday game on the NBCSports Chicago Plus channel (since there is a Bulls game at 3:00 on their primary channel).

The Monday, 7:00 pm game is scheduled to be on the MVC TV Network, which includes NBCSports Chicago and FoxSports Midwest.
This schedule shows the Monday Bradley-UNI game on Mediacom channel 033 (NBCSports Chicago) at 7:00 pm Monday.
https://mediacomtoday.com/tvschedule

The Monday game is also supposed to be on FoxSports Midwest, but that schedule doesn't show that network.

I'm showing Sunday's game scheduled on channel 285 on Xfinity. NCH+H, a version of NBC sports channel.

My biggest concern is for us being in game shape. We haven't played since December 22. With Christmas break then the Covid issues we haven't practiced much either. Also factor in we'll be playing back to back nights for the first time as well. Even Coach Wardle, in an article by Dave Eminian of the PJ Star, admits that we could have some fatigue issues but that he's been impressed with how they look in practice when it comes to conditioning. My guess is that you might see a few more substitutions in both games especially with Boya out. I would expect Hannah, Kent and Linke to play more minutes in these 2 games. Nice to have you guys back. GET ER DONE!

And I think they are deep enough this year to substitute very well

Thanks. I hope it is, but the Bradley, UNI, and MVC schedule pages do not show it on NBCSports Chicago Plus.

Edit: it is now showing on NBCSports Chicago

The game is now on NBCSports Chicago (formerly Comcast Sports Chicago)- channels 102, 285, and 1255 on Xfinity

No McAdoo or Kingsby? I knew Ari was going to be out, but those two have their warmups on and haven’t entered the game. Anybody know why?

Was wondering the same thing. No minutes in the first half. Would like to see Ville with a few more three point opportunities in the 2nd half. We need this game. Also, hope Henry's wrist is okay, looks like he jammed it about 2-3 minutes prior to halftime. Can't afford to lose another interior player.

Disappointing loss for the Braves. Not having Boya hurt us defensively inside. He could have really neutralized Phyfe. Hopefully we come back tomorrow and play a little better.

Yesterday's game story from BradleyBraves.com-
https://bradleybraves.com/news/2021/...ey-opener.aspx

And PJ Star-
https://www.pjstar.com/story/sports/...wa/6616675002/

The PJ Star article reports that regular UNI starters Tywhon Pickford and Trae Berhow did not start the game or the 2nd half because they violated team standards. However, there is no mention of why Danya Kingsby or Kevin McAdoo did not play for Bradley.
It confirms that Ari Boya will not play tonight.

Bradley gets the chance to bounce back tonight with the second game at Northern Iowa.
Today's game is at 7:00 pm and will be on the MVC TV Network, which includes NBCSports Chicago, FoxSports Midwest, and the FoxSports Go App
https://www.foxsportsgo.com/program/...71566871834499

It is also streamed on ESPN+, but is blacked out in the areas covered by the cable networks.
https://www.espn.com/espnplus/schedu...nnel/ESPN_PLUS

Northern Iowa is a 2 point favorite tonight.
