Very athletic, 6-6, solid DI-caliber physique- is a junior at DII (a very good DII team that went 19-10
Has 1 year remaining, averaged 33 min per game, 45% shooting, 34% 3-pt shooting, 13.3ppg, 5-5 rpg,
and brother of Caleb Grill, who was an outstanding college player and now in the G-League.

Bradley at one time back in 2017-18 was recruiting his brother Caleb Grill -- LINK
and had a Bradley offer!!!

So the roster now has THREE returnees with experience - Richardson, van der Knaap, Rugaard
Two returnees coming off redshirt years - Guimaraes, Seastrunk
Two NEW juco arrivals - Thornbrue, Williams
One NEW HS arrival - Kowalczyk
One DI portal transfer - Payton
One DII portal transfer - Grill
One Euro guy - Gerganov
and FOUR MORE open spots with scholarship to give

Wow this kid is absolutely YOLKED. Maybe the youngest brother, Alec, improves enough at NAIA Kansas Wesleyan and then can we shoot for the recruiting trifecta 😂

I am only seeing where he has 1 year remaining. He looks to be a redshirt junior.

Im starting to like the looks of this team especially if Vander Knapp improves as much this season as he did last year.
If Guimareas can handle the middle along with another player. Heard Seastrunk has the ability to help a lot also.
Along with the new players we are going to be ok

Early yesterday we had 4 and then Zobrist left to make it 5 now back to 4 again. Still waiting for a starting center to come forward.

I like what I am hearing about Kyle! Seems like a good get on the surface. It will be nice to not be undersized at guard. I am okay with one undersized guard that is quick and highly skilled but no more than one with significant playing time.

Lot of options now and I was beginning to wonder (even before the news of his transfer) how Zobrist would fit in. Looks like this kid could be a solid bench guy - maybe 15-20 min. per game. Looks like a good get with how physical he looks, and can drive to the paint and finish...probably better than AJ Smith, who had trouble with that not only at BU, but before that.

I do also like how this team is shaping up, as all the guys on the roster really should contribute and play regularly, fighting for minutes from Day 1. No hopefuls or guys who will make our practices better. LOL
I would love a team with a bunch of solid players and maybe 1 outlier stud. Coach is bringing in what appears to be mentally tough guys who are older, not any guys who are likely 1st or 2nd team MVC, but just want to win...reminds me a bit of how Drake reloaded 2 seasons ago with a few D-2 guys with Grit.

We still have these needs:
A legit 5 (No Projects! Can't rely solely on Gustavo)
Backup PG (If the Bulgarian Baller can be our #1, then not so big of a need as Trevon and DR can also play the point.)
Outside shooter (tho we are banking on Trevon - can never have too many!)

Now coaching staff needs to find a few frontcourt players that can contribute immediately. Like my old coach used to call them glass eaters with a strong junk yard dog mentality.

lol how easily it goes from we need a few inside players to let's just find some glass eaters like:.....then we name 2 All Time great players, as if it's that easy.

Why stop there?....just add a pg like maravich, a sg like Hawk, a sf like Bird to go with a Rodman and Darryl Dawkins type....that should get us to the final four.

That's a good start, but we need a role player like an MJ or that team isn't going to get it done.

Well, Also if we could bring in an assistant like maybe Jay Wright or get Hakeem to work on inside development with our bigs during the summer that may help.
