Exactly...so why not bring him back? These things don't have to make perfect sense. A 'Hoya' isn't a Bulldog, but you never hear Georgetown's mascot questioned...BRING BACK TOMMY HAWK!

Who said the Gargoyle would have to be red and white? He could be just red and look like a caricature for kids or mean looking one for merchandise. Gargoyles are said to scare off and protect from any evil or harmful spirits. We could still be called the Braves. The Brave Gargoyle.

I like Captain Brave and we could even create comic books for him as part of merchandising but a gargoyle would be easier to merchandise off of clothing and hats. Imagine our baseball team with one on our hats! If done right I'm buying one right away.:-o Captain Brave may be great to have at games running around but not so great as merchandise, IMO.
