Bradley Men's Basketball video series- Meet the Newcomers

Fire up the Grill!! I like it.

Similar player to Matthew Zobrist but --- (and this is no knock on Zobrist, just citing stats)...
...older, much more experience, 1 to 2 inches taller (6-6 vs ~6-4), coming off double-digit scoring season (13.3ppg), and has
career 36% 3-pt shooting.

I was thinking about Ben Thornbrue's comment that he likes to play physical & hit people so I checked his
stats from last year at the top level of juco ball (at CSI) and he really didn't pick up a huge amount of fouls...
His numbers were roughly the same or less than all the starting guards on the team- less tgan 2.5 fouls per game -- and he was
the team leader in blocks (48) & among the team leaders in minutes played, rebounds & FT% and surprisingly the fewest turnovers
among any of the starters or key players, and an Assist/Turnover Ratio as good as what a lot of guards have (1.4 A/T)
(a 1/4 A/T would have placed him roughly inside the top 15 in the entire MVC last season)
Only one MVC forward did better, Drew Scharnowski at 1.47 who transferred to Duke in the off season.
(btw- Drew Scharnowski did not play for Duke in their exhibition vs Belmont, he's got a nagging right knee injury)

would be nice if some of our local reporters would watch some practices & scrimmages and keep the fans updated...

Thankful for Latif Love, though.

I watched some of Bens games last year. He is a solid player, does not make many mistakes. I noticed in a tight game he made sure Ben was in the game at the end
