During the first half of Gonzaga at Butler, Vitale was going through his list of players out of mid-major programs.

Larry Bird.
Stephen Curry.
"HersHey Hawkins down at Bradley."
Karl Malone...etc.
 
He must have read the name somewhere ;)
...anyway - since he was in Indiana he probably meant "down at Bradley" thinking Bradley was in Indiana just south of Indianapolis
 
I think most at ESPN know who Hersey Hawkins is. Now if Dickie V. mentioned the "Brad Pitt" game along with Patrick O'Bryant and Marcus Sommerville from 2006, then I'd be impressed! :D
