The 2022 Cancun Challenge will feature Bradley, Auburn, Liberty, Northwestern, Southern MIss, IPFW, Winthrop, and one other team to be named.
The tournament is scheduled for Nov. 22-23, 2022 at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico. The tournament also includes games played at campus host sites during the non-conference campaign.

When we last posted about Bradley playing in the 2022 Cancun Challenge, only 7 of the teams had been named-
Bradley, Auburn, Liberty, Northwestern, Southern MIss, IPFW, and Winthrop. That is a pretty good field.
Auburn is currently the #1 team in the country.- https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/rankings/_/week/13/year/2022/seasontype/2

The 8th team was announced recently- Eastern Michigan-

As noted, Bradley's first game in Cancun is against Auburn, a tough draw.
There are already a number of early Top 25 rankings out for 2022-23, and every one I've seen has Auburn in their preseason Top 25.
CBSSports- Auburn is #13- https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...ver-too-early-preseason-2022-23-top-25-and-1/
ESPN- Auburn is #16- https://www.espn.com/mens-college-b...ly-top-25-college-basketball-rankings-2022-23

For those thinking of going, the games are at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, which is not actually in Cancun. It is located about 50 miles south of Cancun along the coast in a small village called Puerto Aventuras. There are shuttles to and from the Cancun airport. It's an all-inclusive resort.

Bradley has good memories from the last Cancun Challenge they participated in. Bradley won the Cancun Challenge in November, 2018-

The 2018-19 team went on to win the 2019 MVC Tournament, and play in the NCAA.
