Lead is down to 12 points, the closest Surrey has been since early in the game. Bradley not playing well now. Still mid 3rd quarter.

end of 3rd quarter 55-50 - did anyone catch who made that last basket for Bradley?

Elijah Childs was scoring early, and now has taken over late to preserve the lead for Bradley.
He has 18 points. Bradley leads 70-64 with 1:08 left.

Final: Bradley 73 Surrey Scorchers 66

Elijah Childs with 20 points to lead Bradley, plus a bunch of rebounds

Final Score - 73-66 and impressive that we had the freshmen (Henry & Brummett) in the game down the stretch!

Good Win

Good Win

Good win against a British pro team. Childs sounded like he played very well. I hope Pittman is ok. I also hope someone writes a game report so that we know more about how the game was played.

We had one of those mid game slumps. I wish I knew the answer to that. The kids are still on Illinois time. Maybe that affected them. In my experience, it takes a day for every hour of time change to adjust when you head East. Coming back, heading West was always easier for me.

Go Braves!

agree completely--
a good start....some fine performances...

quite a few of these guys on the Scorchers were or would be solid mid-major basketball players - so this could well have been the equivalent of a middle-of-the-pack MVC team...and our guys are playing on jet lag

Does anyone else have some comments about the uniforms Bradley wore?

They wore white "home" Bradley uniforms, probably because the Surrey Scorchers' uniforms were predominantly black. And the jerseys did not have any names on the backs.

Here is a good look at the uniform-

My thoughts- These appear to be the new Under Armour uniforms that will be worn by Bradley this season.
If so, they look rather plain. I guess I was expecting something a little more trendy & appealing.

well over an hour since the game ended - and still no report, stats or box score...
...I guess we're pretty spoiled but i want to see the stats!
