Bradley's exhibition opponent Saint Louis

Saint Louis is picked 2nd in the A-10 preseason poll but were just one vote short of VCU (308 with 11 1st place votes vs 307 with 10 1st place votes)
They have four players who received All-Conference recognition- practically their whole starting lineup.

Trey Green and Kellen Thames were 1st Team All Conference
Amary McCottry was 2nd Team All Conference
Ishan Sharma was 3rd Team All Conference
Thames and McCottry were both also named to the preseason All Defense Team
They are coming off a 29-win season

I have gotten confirmation from their Programming Director Caleb Kelch that WMBD WILL NOT broadcast the game, so there appears that there will be no radio or TV coverage that I am aware of - and we can only hope there's a source for live stats

Any St. Louis stations broadcasting the game?

Any St. Louis stations broadcasting the game?
Saint Louis' home radio station is KMOX and they do a lot of sports - but their schedule as posted online does NOT mention the game Friday

and as I posted elsewhere - it doesn't appear the game will be on any radio station.

Here's the Saint Louis home radio station KMOX's schedule for Friday Oct. 23 - and nothing about the game - https://www.audacy.com/kmox/shows/schedule

I'm hedging my bet, but IMO the 5 starters will be among these 7 players:
These 2 will start- Dietrich Richardson, Josh Ibukunoluwa- Coach Wardle suggested they were starters
2 of these 3 will start-
Xander Alarie, Ben Thornbrue, Noah Williams- Xander might be the best shooter, but all 3 looked very good around the basket and they all appeared to play good defense, though Williams, with his long arms, was effective blocking and altering shots
And 1 of these 2 will start- Trevon Payton, Kyle Grill- Probably Trevon has the edge here because of his D1 experience
And of course, Timoty van der Knaap would be a starter if not for his injury.

From what I heard, Payton is definitely starting.

My pick for starting 5 (barring another injury this week)- Dietrich, Tray, Noah, Ben, Josh with Xander & Grill first two off the bench,
unless Josh get early fouls, then it'll be Gustavo.

Saint Louis head coach Josh Schertz spoke to one of their media and was quoted -

"Josh Schertz said he plans to use 9 players against Bradley in Friday.
The Nos. 8/9 players right now are Laczkowski and Hutson. He might go deeper."

also Robbie Avila was in court against yesterday "only to have NCAA request change of judges.
That move had been revealed before the hearing so we didn’t even have to stand for the judge’s entry.
He signed papers and it was over."

The online court docket shows the case as Case # 2622-CC13558 - Roberto Avila vs National Collegiate Athletic Association

- Entry 10/20/2026 - Order requesting "Emergency Motion for Temporary Restraining Order and Preliminary Injunction is set for hearing on Thursday, October 22,2026 at 10:00 a.m" - signed by Judge Jason Sengheiser #55132
The former judge in this case recused himself - JUDGE THOMAS A MCCARTHY who obtained his "juris doctor from the St. Louis University School of Law"

However- the new judge, Jason Sengheiser also obtained his " bachelor's degree and a J.D. from Saint Louis University"

Lastly- their super active beat guy Stu Durando will be updating from the game- LINK

He needs to be denied and just move on, can you just follow the rules.

That would be my starting 5. Thornbrue reminds me of Leons. Garbage player that plays "D" and whatever it takes to win.
