Bradley's new AD?

Has anyone any idea who we are considering?

This is a high profile position within the University and inquiring minds do want to know. This would be great if one of our local reporters would report on this especially seeing how this may effect their job.

This is strictly a guess............. But I think the longer this drags on without fanfare it favors BU keeping the interim AD on as the permanent AD. It only makes sense -- female Prez / female, minority AD. JMI

Why does it make sense? Is BU going to worry about race and gender or go for the best applicant for the job?

She may make a great candidate but I also would like the position to be filled by the most qualified. We will only feel like it was if it there is a true pool of candidates that are interviewing for it. So if she is the best for the job then her credentials should stack up well against others fair and square.

I think you are right on track here B4L! The smell of this thing just gets stronger! Would this be a good thing, no one can answer that at this time. But if she pass?©'s over good strong qualified, experience and prove-in candidate's to make this happen, then the writing is on the wall, that this was a inside conspiracy against KK and not just a management move to better the AD position. But then on the other hand WHO (candidate) from the the outside would trust and want to work for this Prez with her management style.

I personally think that Virnette House-Browning would be a fine candidate, and would do a great job, and if they asked me, I'd give her a 100% endorsement...but...

Why do you feel that way? I'm very neutral on this subject. I do not know her or have ever been exposed to her. I'm just curious is all. I do want as much information out there as possible on the candidates. I bet most of us do!

she was a KK hire....I would be surprised if she stays on

I would also be surprised. Heard a rumor almost a year ago that she wanted one of her own and that person may already be on campus. (remember I did say it was a rumor-have not heard anything recently)
