Bradley is now 9-5 in the MVC, and alone in 3rd place (see standings below).
The remaining schedule is not easy. The 3 road games are at UNI, Missouri State, and Drake, 3 places that Bradley has not had great success in past years. BU lost at Drake last year, and they won at UNI and Missouri State,. But the previous year (2021-22) they lost at both UNI and MSU, while winning at Drake.
2 of the 3 home games are against the 10th and 11th place teams, but the other home game is against SIU, which will also be a tough game.
Bradley's remaining 6 games-
Wed. Feb. 14- home vs. UIC
Sun. Feb. 18- at UNI
Wed. Feb. 21- at Missouri State
Sat. Feb. 24- home vs. Illinois State
Wed. Feb. 28- home vs. SIU
Sun. Mar. 3- at Drake

We need to win 4 out of the remaining 6 to finish 3rd. To me not much different between 2nd or 3rd because you still have to beat quality teams. I noticed after the game the Drake asst. coaches celebrating like they had won the championship, probably because what we did to them last season in our final home game. The two Valley home games we lost were do to really bad starts where we fell behind by 19 and 17 points. Lost in overtime at Ind. St. in the second one against them . We are capable of beating any team in the Valley period.
Most of us know that we need to win the valley Tour. to secure the automatic bid because getting an at large now is pretty much impossible.
 
4-2 is my guess. No way we win at Drake, and I think we lose of the at MoST or UNI games. Worse case we lose all three of those.
 
Two tough(er) road games coming next: @UNI then @MoState...
  • Get things right over the next week and we will be ready for the last few weeks.
  • Slow starts, sloppy play at these games will create added pressure heading to the end of MVC play.
