Does the RPI mean that the braves would be ranked #45 nationally? and theoretically make the top 64 of the tourny if the season ended right now?
 
Nice to see the Braves jump so high.......now the focus should be to take care of business and stay that high! :wink:

Not exactly. The RPI calculation is just 1 tool the NCAA uses to decide on At-Large selections for the NCAA. Usually, teams under 40 have a very good chance of being selected for an at-large bid.

The MVC is still 2nd.... but the PAC10 has closed in on them.

Loyola's RPI goes from 26 to 31 after the loss to BU.
That's not much of a drop and suggests there is not much penalty now to losung to BU on the road.
