Bradley's Valley Record Predictions

Though I have seen some posters scatter predictions among different threads at various points this season, I would be interested in hearing people's opinions after the non-conference portion and right before Valley play. Specifically, I'm curious as to what you think their 1) final Valley record will be, 2) how many road wins, and 3) how many home losses.

Mine:

10-8 in the Valley

3 road wins

2 home losses

Can't argue with those thoughts, but I am optimistic and will go even higher.

I say 3 road wins and no home losses.
12-6, 2-3rd place in the Valley and an NCAA bid.

Here is the order for the MVC right now according to RPI (according to realtimerpi.com) --
28 Southern Ill. 0-0 8-2 0.6172 77 0.5451
29 Missouri State 1-0 9-2 0.6133 79 0.5437
30 Bradley 0-0 8-3 0.6108 30 0.5750
40 Wichita St. 0-0 8-2 0.5968 94 0.5319
67 Illinois St. 0-1 7-4 0.5682 98 0.5280
68 Creighton 0-0 5-4 0.5680 61 0.5530
82 Northern Iowa 0-0 8-2 0.5544 266 0.4535
85 Evansville 1-0 8-4 0.5527 128 0.5147
88 Drake 0-0 8-2 0.5506 212 0.4766
110 Indiana St. 0-1 5-4 0.5387 131 0.5140

I'll think that is close to the final order of finish.

If you think I am being optimistic...then...

Ken Pomeroy, college basketball guru and stat afficionado, has projected Bradley to go 15-3 in the Valley.
Look at the far right column on this page (and ignore his preseason prediction at the bottom of 21-9.)
That would give BU a total record going into the conference tourney of 24-6 plus maybe even one more win in the BracketBuster (which he does not include).

WOW

WOW

Wow! I'm an eternal optimist but............ :?

Give me some of that kool-aid, will ya? I could see Tornado's prediction happening though, but I'd never have expected it. The key this year is defending our home court (a long-time Braves tradition) and picking up a few road wins over the patsies. I still can't believe that if we do this we'll end up with 20+ wins :-o Who'd have thunk it?

Oh, by the way Coach, I think Wichita will dominate The Valley this year and believe that Creighton will get their act together and finish second. SIU is just plain bad on offense but should battle for the 3 & 4 spot with Mizzou St. We may be able to slip into the #3-4 spot, but I think we'll be 5th. Nonetheless, with a strong finish like last season we'll have a shot at NCAA Tourney. I just think only 4 teams will go from The Valley (revenge for last year  )

Each game has a % chance of winning statistic on the far right. Based on Pomeroy's % chance of winning statistics, there is a 0.76% chance of BU winning all of the games that his computer is predicting they will win. :-o
