Brazil Trip

I would be very surprised....are you??
I even checked with the agency that booked the trip for the Braves and they kinda were intentionally vague to try to keep anyone from knowing the itinerary

Can anyone explain why the Bradley Freshman can not play on this trip? They have graduated from high school, they have been cleared by the NCAA, they are at Bradley taking classes, so on and so on. I dont get it? Is this just another stupid NCAA rule?
 
Yes, they are not allowed to go until they are enrolled and attending full time in the fall semester.
But an NCAA rule also prohibits any player from traveling for an exhibition game if he misses even one class, thus it is virtually impossible to go once classes start.
Here is a story about Tennessee-Chattanooga going to Canada over Labor Day so as to NOT miss any classes, but they have to play
four games in about a 48 hour span in order to comply with the NCAA rules. They will be able to take their four, new incoming freshmen with them.

Here's one thing that I am still puzzled by...
we knew about this tour well over 2 months ago...and the local press mentioned it a couple times...
but with games less that 10 days away, why have we not gotten more coverage?
