Broadcast Point Number 2

Well I don't remember anyone but PAPaul.

And I don't think you can be any better than him.

You had to be there I guess. Frank knew how to get the crowd going in the Fieldhouse with his sayings such as "They're on their way, they're ready to play" as the Braves left the locker room and ran onto the court. He had a unique way of introducing the starting lineup for the Braves that no one anywhere, IMO, can compare to.

But who can explain the traveling call to the old folks..or anticipate who fouls are on (incorrectly) better than Paul?

I just don't think anyone could be better than him.

Srw, I agree with you 100%. PAPaul is a good friend of mine and the group we sit with at the CC. I think he does a great job and I know for a fact he bleeds Bradley red. He has given alot of his time to that University but we still sit across the floor listening for him to make an occasional error so we can bring it to his attention. Makes the game alot more fun.I think Frank does a good job on TV just wish he would stop some of his corny comments that went out a long time ago. Keep up the good work Paul we're listening. As you know one of us is going south this winter but the rest of us will be waiting for you to help the officials.lol

I know things have changed from the Fieldhouse days, such as commercials having to be read when the fans want to be cheering, etc., so it's probably not the current PA's fault, but IMO, there is way too much conversation going on that is unnecesary. Not disputing his loyalty to Bradley.

Have virtually no problems with Herzog. Little things here and there make me wince, but nothing to worry about. I'm sure it takes a great deal of time for low pay.
