The page that says we're @ 13 1/2 point underdog...


And the page that says MVC 6th place finish...
 
About what I expected, if not more. BYU is a heavy favorite to win their conference and the Braves are picked 6 in ours. Unless BU gets an inside game this season, we will be underdogs a lot.
 
Personally and Im not going to play the game... never bet on games that involve your teams, but I really think that line is about right.

If I had to bet it Id take BYU and give the points. Its a big number but they are a stout home team, experienced and it is never easy to open on the road in a hostile environment.

I really like UNI giving the 5. Denver is pretty experienced with 3 starters returning who scored in double figures last season. But I would anticipate a small crowd and the UNI should handle Denver pretty easily.

That avatar is a picture of my namesake. I finally found a good photo to use. I hope you guys take it to 'em tonight. I wish you guys could have had a few games under your belt before an opponent like this but hopefully you guys get it done despite that challenge.
 
I'm thinkin a moral victory tonight would holding this team below 85 points, if we can do that without letting the air out we will be fine...
 
Wow, a lot of non-believers. Yes this will be a tough game but you have to believe they can pull it out. Kansas was favored by a ton in 2006. Have a little faith brothers and sisters. I hope the team is not reading this site today.
