BU 61 vs. UMKC 73

I can tolerate a 0-30 season and last place in the Valley if the team plays smart, hard basketball. However... All we've seen is terrible execution, lackluster defense...

And what's more frustrating... Is the stubborn leadership that refuses to recognize the intrinsic strengths and weaknesses of its personnel and shape a system to capitalize on it. I know we shaped our system on the Phoenix Suns... But even the Suns slowed it down when their rotation demanded it.

Delete this if you want, Mr. or Mrs. Moderator, but this is my personal analysis of the problems this season, and I don't think it is inflammatory or insulting to anyone.
 
We need to be really aggressive on the offensive end of the floor for the last three and a half minutes. Maybe we can get fouled and make some free throws.
 
It seems to me that Les has over-recruited athleticism on this year's team and left ourselves with a team full of guys that can't shoot and simply aren't very skilled basketball players.
This is the worst collection of shooters that I have seen in BU uniforms in a long, long time.
 
That's a little harsh and uncalled for as of right now. We still are 3 games only into the season with our leaders either not playing or not playing well...

We probably won't be very good until the conference season or maybe the entire season...but the worst team ever?
 
how many times did SM get beat off the dribble today? We'll be 7th in the Valley this year (if we're lucky). I don't think AW will make that much of a difference.
