Last year on Valentine's day, we beat SIU at home... and we really started to roll.

Btw, after beating SIU last year on this same day, we moved up to 51st in the RPI.

WE ARE AHEAD OF LAST YEAR!

WE ARE NOT OUT OF CONTENTION FOR AN NCAA BID YET!!!

Les is always a great coach to watch. I believe hes one of the true mentors of the conference. Stands up the whole game, gives the refs heck on every foul and gives tips to players in the meantime. Works his butt off the whole time unlike most coaches who just sit on the bench and get up only when needed.

Jason

JL was "miked up" for the DU game and it was pretty good.

I liked the "His Hands were Up Here" part when Les talked to Bob.

Lets not forget, that some of the NCAA committee may give us an edge also after getting to the sweet 16 last year and putting up a better year this year. Figure, if they did it last year, they might be able to do it again this year. Everyone loves a cinderella team.

Hate to spoil your dreams but each year stands on its own. Last year (or any past years) has no bearing on this years field.

While it is nice to know we're slightly ahead of where we were last year at this time, I think we're going to have to make the same kind of run down the stretch and in the valley tournament to get an at large, and that's likely going to mean we're going to have to beat SIU in the semi's. Obviously looking way ahead, but hey....you never know.

Great win for BU tonight.

And I love seeing all the people online during the game in the chat room as well as all the people online in the upper right hand corner on this site.

GO BU!!!

I graduated from BU, they've always had a great basketball tradition, and they have achieved more than just about anyone thought they would this year! A real fun team to watch! Let's hope they finish the regular season strong, and then who knows what may happen afterwards! :D

And when the ref said....You know what, you're right". JL said Thanks, thats all I was looking for. Very funny exchange.

I missed that.

Where's the audio saved at so I can hear it.

Watch the WEEK news tonight and tomorrow night. Lee Hall will show some of the video. It will also be on the Jim Les Show Sunday 10am.

Tks for the link. And if ANYBODY thinks it is different without the mic, I just want you all to know... from what I hear when I get a chance to be close enough... it is like that ALL THE TIME!

Article from Evansville paper--
http://www.courierpress.com/news/2007/feb/15/its-foul-ending-aces/

It seems the Evansville people think the foul that sent Will Franklin to the line with 1.4 seconds left was a weak call.
BUT- I have not heard anyone yet point out that the shot that Will took (and which was waved off by the ref who called the foul) went in the basket! So if the foul hadn't been called, Bradley would have won on that 2-point shot, and likely the remaining 1.4 seconds would have expired on the shot.

Didn't see the game. But in looking at the stats, I'm a little concerned that BU's FT% was barely better than their 3PT%. This team needs to hit their FTs against VCU and in the conference tournament.

I can vouch for that also!
