BU back in chicago invitational challenge?

Definitely not another 11 day gap between games. Although, we came back off that break and won 2 in a row this December. I still don't like that long of a gap though.

Also, count me in as one who is very happy about this Chicago tourney. My in laws are up there. This may make the trip up there for Thanksgiving FAR more enjoyable.

I'd like for us to get an A10 team, Xavier or Dayton, and an SEC team, Vandy, South Carolina, or Wake Forest. No more going to powerhouses like Duke for a while...

I am hearing a strong rumor that we have an A-10 team on the schedule next year.

Yeah, but what quality of A-10 team will we be playing? There's some great ones at the top, and some very awful teams at the bottom. This is the big reason that the A-10 has had problems cracking the top 6 for any length of time. Teams like Fordham, La Salle and St. Louis don't do their conference any favors!

This is excellent news of Bradley being at the Chicago Tourney. I'm also a huge Badger fan so this is going to be awesome. I live like 15 minutes from the Sears Centre.

I went in 06 and had a lot of fun. I still am mad about losing that game the final few minutes to Illinois.

I would LOVE to see this tourney, as I live in Chi-town. Too bad I will be up in Big Wisky that Thanksgiving weekend. Hopefully BU fans in the Chicago area (and those in Peoria!) will come out strong to support the Braves in Hoffman Estates.

Whatever the case, this is great scheduling, and should surely be an RPI-rising tournament, and a good way to prepare for the conference.

The $92 and $62 prices are full tournament passes, good for 4 games each day, a total of 8 games. The $52 and $37 tickets are for each full day of 4 games. I know this sounds high, but compared with other 2 day tournaments I have seen, it is quite reasonable.

I don't know yet whether Bradley will have single session tickets for the night sessions when Bradley plays, but as of now those are not available from the Sears Center. I believe in past years they did sell single session tickets at a lower price.

But the last time Bradley played in this tournament and played Rutgers and Illinois in Nov. 2006, the arena was far from full, and many people who had tickets in the lower priced sections moved over to the lower sidecourt sections and were not hassled.

Not to mention.....$97 will get four people a ticket for one day, a hot dog, a soda, and fries. Do that for both days and it's a cost of less than $50 per person for both full days plus some food and drink each day. That sounds like a decent deal to me.

Good...I think.

If there is no single-game ticket option (just the BU game), I may not go.
$37 for one game does not seem worth it to me.

I'm hoping there will be lower priced single game tickets for Bradley/Wisconsin, but I would be willing to pay the $37 for a chance to see the Braves knock off a Big Ten team in my own backyard. :D
