Scottie James plays for the Tarpon Springs Spongers. In this article from a couple months ago, he said he had interest from Georgia Southern, Elon, Florida Gulf Coast, Stetson, Northeastern in Boston."

WOW...after watching the Highlite video I say just sign him up.....major motor and huge hops........this kid would be fun to watch in a Bradley UNI!

Reminds me a tiny little bit of will egolf. I can only find one YouTube vid of Egolf from high school but if he can be along those lines that would be spectacular.

I'm with ya Big Mike. Won't have to worry about admissions problems, the kid has a 4.14 GPA. I like that 2 doctors told him he is not done growing and could reach 6'11" also. Coach Wardle you amaze me!!!

Note in this bio, written by Scottie himself, he says the following-
http://www.ncsasports.org/mens-bask...ings/tarpon-springs-high-school/scottie-james

I consider myself to be a student-athlete. Academics are very important to me. I work hard on and off the court because I know that both have a big influence on my future. Basketball has been important to me since I was young. I work hours at trying to become better. Working hard does not scare me and I believe it is what it takes to get to the next level. I am a team player and will do anything I can do help my teammates succeed. Honesty, integrity, loyalty, and hard-work are character qualities that I feel are necessary for me to have as well as others. I feel like I am a great teammate and team player and would help any team. While I do want to do well and push myself to do the best I can do, I don't put myself above other people. I consider my team like a unit - it's not just about me. It's about the team so my focus isn't just about what I can do for me, but what I can do for my teammates. In addition, I am still growing and have been projected, by two different doctors, to be 6'11".

Everything sounds like BU a good fit for James. Exciting. Hopefully he ends up with the Braves where he can be watered and fertilized and grow to 6' 11"..

I recall people saying that Jordan Prosser's & Bill Cole's doctors said they were going to grow to 7-feet..

Scottie James is visiting Wofford this weekend then Bradley next Wednesday.

No word of other recruits visiting this weekend.

Sounds like everywhere he goes, they offer him a scholarship. Let's hope we land him.

Hope so - but we may not know -
this coaching staff is a bit different in that they keep things secret...the last coaching staff liked to get things out but the new guys do not - I like it better this way to avoid negative recruiting

Sure is quite regarding James. Anybody know if he was here yesterday?? Did anyone see him and the coach on campus or out eating anywhere??
