BU Commit- 2018- Armon Brummett

Thanks LongTimeFan! Great to be part of this forum! Been a Bradley fan for over 45 years and still love going to the games and cheering on the Braves. Better times are definitely ahead!

Decatur MacArthur HS and Bradley commit Armon Brummett played tonight at Normal U-High. MacArthur won a close game 62-60.
No final statistics available yet. Armon Brummett reportedly played well, and had 16 points after 3 quarters.

I hope to see a lot of BU fans in Peoria head to Peo. High tonight to watch our newest recruit. It would also be nice to get a detailed report on how he played.

I watched the Decatur MacArthur game at Central tonite
MacArthur beat Mt. Zion 65-52 but it wasn't really that close...

Armon Brummett is as athletic as almost anyone in the MVC but needs to work on his outside shot..
he didn't shoot well but still scored 21 and had 9 rebounds (unofficial- per my count)
Amir had 13 pts and handles the ball a little better.

Coach Wardle & Adams were there

PJ Star article about Armon Brummett and his game in Peoria last night-

One line caught my attention-
Amir will play football for Northern Illinois, and the twins said they haven’t been apart for two days in their nearly 18 years....
Said Amir Brummett: “We’ll be an hour and 20 minutes away from each other, so I’m sure I’ll see him on the NIU campus and I’m sure you’ll see me on the Bradley campus.”

I have driven the route from Peoria to DeKalb many times. It is 125 miles, and takes me more than 2 hours. So if the Brummetts are going to make it in 1 hour 20 minutes, they have figured out a faster way than I have. :)

but he's probably thinking if they met say at the Starved Rock lodge for lunch they'd each only drive about an hour or hour & a half ;)

Rockford To Peoria

Rockford To Peoria

Rockford to Peoria is just under 140 miles via highway 2, 26 and 29. Takes slightly more than 3 hours at 2 lane speeds.:p

Armon Brummett and his Decatur MacArthur squad is playing in the O'Fallon
"Bank of O'Fallon Shootout" this weekend...

Tonight they play Jennings at 5:30pm
Jennings (MO) is ranked #8 in Missouri (4A), and are 19-2 (Vashon is top ranked)

MacArthur is moving up in the rankings - http://herald-review.com/sports/hig...cle_e049643c-c50b-5f3a-8e64-52b6df876bb3.html

Armon Brummett's averages 18.4 ppg, 7.3 rpg and 33% on 3-pointers (31-93)
Decatur area high school stats - http://herald-review.com/sports/hig...cle_2d9c7948-fb45-5e83-8d46-58c092a7c104.html
(nice stat site, similar to what St. Louis area has that we followed last year for Ryan Stipanovich's numbers - too bad Peoria doesn't have anything even close.)
