BU JL Curse?

The possible season ending injury to DD, and the early season suspension to TB, continue an extraordinary run of bad luck for BU under JL. It seems more than just a casual happenstance.

I believe BU could be under a curse as powerful as the fabled Cubs' goat thing.

We need to identify the source of the curse on BU and exorcise it as soon as possible.

My guess is the curse may have started with the departure of Danny Granger...it took a couple of seasons to manifest itself.

I suggest the best thing to do is to bring Granger back, honor him, retire his number, and give him an honorary degree ;-)

Do any other posters have any inkling of the cause of a possible BU curse, and what should be done to get rid of it?

Be as creative as I know you can be!

This beats rehashing the BU Idaho St results all week!
 
Injuries have always happened and are in no way tied to Jim Les as your post would have people believe.

Also...Danny Granger was/is a punk...a punk with no loyalty.
 
Curses only exist to those who believe in them. If you believe you are cursed, bad things will happen to you. We aren't. If we were, we wouldn't have made a Sweet 16 and had a lottery pick.

Maybe the dumbest post since Bradley Fans started.
 
I think the curse is because Vroman hasn't released a new Band CD with Swing March on it. The only way to exorcise it is to have the bU band go to Dingeldine right away and record and release a new band CD!

I am not a Jim Les apologist.....I'm just against anything that compares Bradley Basketball to the Cubs and the lame ways they embrace losing.

Also...the idea of curses is just sooo overdone these days.

Parking is higher

Programs are now scorecards

BU basketball has turned into such a huge cash cow. It's insulting to the fans. I'll just keep sneaking in my food & drink and ignoring the programs. Bottle of water - $3. Unbelievable.

BU has a geat band, as usual. Too bad they don't play that much at the games. I'd much rather listen to them play than listen to the PA announcer every timeout. The dancers are great also, but they should be on the floor at half time not during the guts of the game.

They moved all of the kid contests to halftime, and put the band and stuff during timeouts.

That's a step in the right direction. IMO, keep the band a playin and the guy with the flag a runnin. Band is quiet more than they play during timeouts but it's because they have to wait until the annoucements and all the other crowd killing nonsense is done. If they are there why is anything piped.
