Kind of surprised this isn't getting the coverage it deserves.
We've come a long way from Joe Stowell speaking honestly & getting kicked off the HOF Committee and banned fom campus!

Here's a bit of basketball TRIVIA (pretty easy if you know Bradley basketball!)-
What player, recruited and coached by Joe Stowell at Bradley University, went on to one of the most celebrated
INTERNATIONAL careers, nominated for the International (FIBA) HALL OF FAME, won a Pan American Games GOLD MEDAL,
a FIBA World Cup Bronze Medal, the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame, and played in four Oylmpics?
He averaged 14.2 ppg in his career at Bradley before the shot clock or the 3-point line (so prob woulda had 16-18 ppg)?

1975-76 was Roger Phegley's sophomore season. Roger averaged 17.3 ppg. But the leading scorer that year was Bradley Hall of Famer Big Mike Davis, who averaged 20.0 ppg and 9.5 rpg.

If my memory is correct, Joe went to Brazil to get Marcel to come back. The problem was Brazil didn't want him to leave. Instead wanted him to stay and play in Brazil
