BU-McDonald's promotion

I'm not sure if anyone knows, but being that I have some "inside" info I will get it out in the open. Tentatively starting Thursday your McDonald's of Peoria-Bartonville will be offering a Bradley-McDonald's basketball for $5.00 with the purchase of an extra value meal. Also we are decorating our stores with some BU paraphernilia. Along with this we will be having a raffle for a Bradley jersey. If I am not mistaken the raffle will end on Dec 14th. The jersey is not an official BU jersey but it is a pretty sharp piece of memorabilia. Just thought that I would let everyone know.
 
It is very rare for me to be able to stomach McD's... and even more rare to find me anywhere near Bartonville.

But if I wind up in the area - I'll get one of those extra value meals, give the food to my 5 yr old and roll the dice with the extras! Tks for the heads-up O'B. :D

Actually... Steak-n-Shake has got it. ;)

But I feel SO GUILTY eating the Dbl Platter with beans and fries that I have to run at least 10 Miles the next day or be coming off a race or 10-Miler+ in order to eat it.

Yummmmmm!

Note to self: Run 10+ on Saturday - eat Steak-n-Shake Friday Night before the Bradley-UIC game. ;)

Continuing to push this thread way off topic...I wanted to know who April Stevens is,
so I googled her and got that Teach Me Tiger song. Whoa! That song was released in 1959 and I think that the FCC would still have issues with it...

MM I am having a hard time with your rationality. Burgers are Burgers, Fries are Fries, and beans, well they make you fart. Please do your friends that sit next to you a BIG Favor, go to the restroom before the game.:lol:
Thanks OB as I will be sure to get a couple as I have two little muhkins who will enjoy them, even though they are Boiler Fans. Oh by the way hows the little one doing?

April Stevens and I share the same birthdate, different years of course. Can anybody guess which month.;)

Your right, Munchkin! I thought I hit the spell check but I think Mr. Spell Check may of had problems helping me on that one.:lol: What is a YUTE:?: Webster does not know. I think I have a idea.
 
It is all the McDonald's in Peoria as well as the 2 in Bartonville. Sorry for not clarifying that. I have finally got my way and we are now a sponsor of BU Basketball. I have been pushing this for a while after successful promotions with the Rivs and the Chiefs. The basketballs are full size balls. However, the jersey that is being auctioned off is only a size small jersey.
Any other questions let me know. Thanks for asking OOB. The little one is 2 months old on Friday. He is doing great.
