BU-MO State in game thread

I'm just not sure two bigs is going to help. Right now I don't see what we get with AT or SS on the floor with WE. In theory you might say more rebounds but those two are not delivering more rebounds so I think you get little or no offense, not much rebounding help.....

I think we will see some shake up but we will have to see who gets time. DSE will if he is in good enough shape to play much more at this point. Jake will get more minutes we will have to see who else.

Just a really crummy effort. Sad, disspointing.

In many ways you are right. But I think that we need to make wholesale lineup changes and I would like to see us try to play with some height which in turn could move some players into their more natural positions. This team isn't a team, it is a bunch of individuals running around on the floor trying to do their own thing.

This team has the absolute WORST chemistry I have seen in a long time. It's not so much that we have bad players. They're like a puzzle where the pieces just cannot fit together. :(

***At least ISU is getting man-handled at home by UNI! :) :) :)
 
Yeah, he needs to shake things up. 3 rebounds between AW, CR & TB is absolutely stupid. Those three should get more than 3 rb's falling into their hands without any effort-I guess they only got 3 without any effort.

My guess is DSE and JE get more minutes. I think CR loses some minutes and we'll have to see who else. Just not sure how many mins DSE can handle right now. A decent effort from WE tonight.

People say more mins for MK but his defense just looks really bad (and really bad for us is really really bad).
 
I agree with most...this Phoenix Suns garbage Les picked up will never work with the personnel we have unless he's just taking after the Suns in the fact that they don't play any defense either.

Changes really need to be made and we really don't have two bigger guys that deserve a start, but in reality, we don't have FIVE on the entire team that deserve a start anyways...therefore, I would start Singh, Egolf, Brown, Warren, and DSE...only 3 of those guys really deserve that, you can figure out for yourself who...

And for everyone saying well at least ISU is losing, what does that even matter at this point?! Our program right now is a joke and their coach has already done something in a very short time that after this season and 8 years our coach won't do, and that's finish in the top 3...all you are doing is sounding like Cubs fans saying well, at least the Cards lost to the Dodgers...it's just sad!
 
I don't think we've seen booing until we hear the booing that will come on Jan. 16th against MO State at home. It's going to get ugly.

Have you watched the Suns lately? Even though they have a better record than Bradley, they blow more leads. The other night they had a 16 point lead early and before the half was over they were down by 16.

The coach at WSU also seems to have them moving in the right direction pretty quickly as well. I guess coaching experience at Winthrop trumps being an asst in the WNBA....

Benni I totally agree with you! I have been calling for a bigger lineup for 3 years now:!: It's never going to happen with JL here:!: Sorry it is what it is:!: Some are calling others on here a BROKEN RECORD but JL is the BROKEN RECORD:!: For Gods Sake Jimmy, WAKE UP before its to Late:!: Your broke, the coaching staff is broke and the team is a broken machine that is spinning its wheels:!:

I would have no problem with going big OoB, except this team was built to "go small" and does not have the "bigs" to go big; the big talent level is clearly not big.

I cannot disagree with you on that, but thats the problem:!: So do we stay with the problem or do we try to go Big and move some people into their more natural positions as Benni suggested? Lets face the fact here TB is NO TW on the boards(2 yesterday, TW's worst game was nowhere that bad) or with his D:!: WE is not a true 5 but a 4:!: AW is a shooter and plays soft when it comes to D and getting it on inside, (O yes ZERO) rebounds yesterday:!: And CR not much better and his play is heading in the wrong direction:-o
Whats it going to hurt to go bigger the rest of the way with the ones we got:doubt::? Nothing:!::) We need to do it for the rest of the year, give it a chance and not just jump back to the same OLD BROKEN BS (small):!:
