BU off-season workout regimen

I'm kinda sorry I started this thread now! My only intent was twofold: 1. what are the nuts and bolts of a D1 off-season schedule (recognizing that some of you are close to the program and would know the answer) and 2. There appears to be a greater emphasis on weights and scrimmaging under Coach Les vs. Coach Mo....In no way did I mean that as a knock on Mo. I loved Mo as a coach and there was clearly a great emphasis on conditioning under his program. All D1 programs are evolving though, and it seems that more and more of these kids are getting NBA bodies before graduation these days.

Doug I think you have a legit question. It got off track. I would say there isn't a greater emphasis with Coach Les--he just talks about it more. Coach Les is more open about what he does while Mo kept it close to the vest. That was the only real difference.

Although has time has changed and evolved so have workouts. I think that is the difference. During Mo's early days the weightlifting was huge. I remember how big Deon Jackson got. And Funch. I think the methods have changed. Maybe more explosive type stuff as opposed to building bulk. Plyometrics, yoga, etc.

I do think things are different from what is going on--but the amount of effort put in is the same.
