BU recruit- 2013 juco Darrell Combs

Darrell (sometimes spelled Darell) Combs is a 6'1" combo guard that Bradley recruited a little out of high school a year ago at Thornwood High School, but he committed to Loyola, over interest from a number of other midmajors including Western Kentucky, Cleveland State, and Illinois State.

However, Combs decided he wanted to go elsewhere. He enrolled at Blinn College, a juco in Texas where he is playing his freshman season as a full qualifier. That means he could commit to a D1 school for 2013, and he would have 3 years of eligibility.
He is having a good year, leading his team with an average of 17.6 ppg, and in assists with 3.7 apg.

Darrell Combs was at the BU-Wichita State game tonight (Sun. 1/6). He is a soft spoken and very respectful young man. He was very impressed with Bradley and the Bradley fans. He told me he currently has several offers, including Bradley, Kent State, Cleveland State, Miami (Ohio), Western Kentucky, and several others.

Darrell Combs, a pretty good junior college shooting guard who played the last couple years at Blinn CC in Texas and is originally from Thornwood HS in the south Chicago suburbs, committed today to Eastern Michigan University.
At Blinn, he averaged 17 ppg, 3.6 apg, and shot 37% from three. He is a good get for EMU and will have 3 years of eligibility there.
