BU recruit- 2013 juco- Justin Edmonds

Bradley is recruiting a 6'3" shooting guard Justin Edmonds from Division II Juco- Owens Community College in Toledo, Ohio. He is originally from Albion, Michigan HS and graduated in 2010. As the tallest player on his high school team, he played the post. He then spent a year at Summit Christian Academy in East Lansing, Michigan. He played mostly point guard in his year at the prep school, before moving on to Owens CC where he played mostly the 2-guard position. As a freshman at Owens, he averaged 19.2 ppg, 3 apg, and shot 36% from three.
He has offers from Albany and Bradley.

Found several tweets and comments where this kid was impressive at the Mullens Juco event in St. Louis last month, and got a couple new offers after that, Bradley & Albany.....
Dayton, Detroit, UAB, Wright State..also showing interest according to his coach...
He came a from a smaller high school in Michigan so got no interest back then...
his frosh jujco season saw 108 TO though so I hope he improves on that!

Bradley has picked up on several other junior college kids for 2013, including some "bigs". We hope to be hearing more about some of the others, soon.

There are still some 2013 high school kids in play as well.

I have just heard that former Bradley recruit, shooting guard Justin Edmonds committed this morning to Marshall University.

He has been injured a portion of the season, but now has returned and is averaging 18 ppg at Owens CC. He is an outstanding shooter.
 
His injury caused some to back off but Marshall is already hurting (5-9 in CUSA and several big time blowouts - even >50 pt blowouts..) and lose half their top 6 scorers..as well as their two top rebounders...
plus they did well with two juco transfers last year (Pittman & Scarver)
