BU recruit- 2013- Karrington Ward

Karrington Ward now appears headed for Moraine Valley Community College in south suburban Chicago for his sophomore year. They are a Division 2 junior college.
 
interestingly the article about KW to Moraine erroneously spells his name in one place as...
Carrington Ward....

but there actually is another, DIFFERENT player named Carrington Ward...who will be playing at Palm Beach State Community College

Moraine Valley had won 10 straight then Karrington Ward injured his foot and has been out since...
they proceeded to lose two in a row then barely beat the CoSF JV squad..
 
Former BU recruit Karrington Ward played his first D1 game today for Eastern Michigan, and he played well. He was the game's leading scorer with 17 points, and helped EMU to a 77-45 win over Albion in the first NCAA Division I game played in the 2013-14 season.
Today, Fri. Nov. 8, is the first day D1 teams can play regular scheduled games, and the EMU game started at noon ET-

Another 2013 recruit Bradley passed on was Karrington Ward. He landed at Eastern Michigan.
Today he had another tremendous game for EMU- 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 4-8 from three in EMU's close loss at Purdue.

He is leading his team in both scoring and rebounding with averages of 16.5 ppg, and 6.1 rpg. He also leads his team with a 46.4% three point shooting average (13-28 ).
 
Do you know for sure we "passed" on him or might there be other reasons he couldn't/didn't come to BU?
