BU recruit- class of 2012- Mislav Brzoja

yet another recruiting site is now reporting the following offers for Brzoja
Ohio, Vandy, Utah, URI, Northwestern, Providence, Marquette, BU

..and does not mention Illinois, Texas, Virginia, and others that had been previously noted

Sometimes playing time is more important to a kid than some other factors. Plus he has said he would like to play with his friend. Maybe those factors will be an advantage for Bradley.

From what I have heard and some of what I have seen he would fit rather well at BU as he is another player that can shoot the ball from 3, reminds me of when we had Crouch as it is always good to have 6-4 and above players that can shoot the 3, now lets get a center and another point guard from JUCO.

I'm sure Geno knows about it, but have we shown interest or offered? We've got opportunities for immediate playing time, but will there be a scholly available once we get through the spring...

? who knows; probably yes, or maybe. :doubt:

Yes that was fun to watch. If we somehow pulled him in I think we would have at least two new starters next year. Pickett and him. Fingers crossed. I am optimistic if he visits again. I just hope he doesn't change anything before the visit.

I would be pretty excited to get this kid. Just seems like a special talent, and that with P.T., he will just keep getting better and better.
Let's hope this Thursday goes really well for Mislav.

The other site is reporting Brzoja will be on campus Thursday. Roll out the red carpet!

That is nothing new. It comes from the Dave Reynolds article of March 7 that was discussed here as well.
Back on March 7, Dave said this-
The Braves’ top target is 6-6 small forward Mislav Brjoza, who will pay an official visit to BU on March 22, the Journal Star has learned.

However, I am hearing it's Friday that Mislav will visit, and he won't be the only visitor. These will be the top 2 targets for the 2 open scholarships. :)

Who's the second open scholarship from?

I wasn't sure when it would be made public - but this has been in the works a while as I am sure many suspected
Like all players - he obviously wants more playing time.....

no news on Brzoja or Buovac but there was a comment on the premium Rivals board at Northwestern
that it is apparently known that several other schools are contacting and talking to Alex Olah since he has NOT signed.
