BU recruit- class of 2014- Milik Yarbrough

whatever - but I don't routinely retweet things that come from total strangers that I don't read, agree with or have as friends...
but Milik Yarbrough follows, reads, and retweets the guy's tweets

Yarbrough retweeted this March 18 tweet by Haun...

"Retweeted by Yarbrough

DePaul could make strides next year if they land @JoshMCunningham @MilikY14 to pair with @BGarrett_5 #dpubb #DePaul
Yarbrough ‏@MilikY14"

He's having some fun with a DePaul fan. I wouldn't read too much into it. Especially when neither Milik or JC have DePaul listed in their top 5's. And Milik is so serious about DePaul that he isn't even using one of his 5 official visits there?

if you are saying we can't always believe what people tweet - then I generally begin with that premise...and would even expand it to you can't generally believe anything anyone says during the recruiting process - as we have learned time and time again..

Alrighty then, you worry about DePaul then. And when either one of them (or BOTH!!!) picks the Blue Demons, you will have your very own Gotcha post for me! :p

as I said right from the start that the very tweet in question was speculation, PLUS.....
.. I prefaced it with "FWIW" which generally is accepted as meaning I don't put a lot of stock into it but you can judge what it's worth

I have pointed out that similarly talented kids BU was courting who held out 'til very late in their recruiting processes seemed to land at DePaul
more than anywhere else...............so FWIW...

Depaul in contention for Cunningham? I don't believe I have seen them connected with him for some time.

in an interview just a couple days ago on the Indiana Rivals premium site...

YahooSports writer Jeff Rabjohns writes:
"Josh Cunningham was hanging out with his former Mac Irvin Fire
teammates this weekend, so Peegs.com had a chance to talk with him.

He is very interested in South Carolina, where he will take his final official
visit this coming weekend. (This past weekend was the recruiting dead
period, so no visits could be taken.)

The 6-foot-7 2014 Chicago Morgan Park forward told us he hasn't made
any decision. He said he's going to visit South Carolina, then sit down with
his mom and Mac Irvin coach Nick Irvin and make a decision. He told us
none of his finalists, including IU, are out of the running at this point.

He said he considers Creighton, Oklahoma, Bradley, Minnesota, Indiana,
DePaul and South Carolina his finalists.

Cunningham said a big key is a chance to play immediately and play on
the perimeter.

"Hopefully I come in and play some great minutes, but I want to play the
three instead of the four and going into the post because college guys are
much bigger than me," Cunningham told Peegs.com. "That's why this
season I tried to step out more and shoot the 3 and drive the ball more to
get ready for that in college."

We'll have a full story from that interview coming soon...."

Yarbrough would be a very good recruit for Bradley. We need to start getting some of these type of players but it will not be easy considering St. Louis and Illinois State are involved.

Milik Yarbrough visited St. Louis this past weekend, and was reportedly very impressed. But the biggest news with him is that he is now telling the St. Louis Billikens' Scout.com writer that UNLV is coming on strong and "is in the mix". I don't believe our coaches are nearly as optimistic about him as they are about Cunningham.

He is one of the most confusing recruits I have seen in awhile. He makes me nervous from the fact that if ISU or Bradley landed him and he played well you could be looking at a Ray Rice. Played well then hung it over Drake's heads then bailed for what he thought was a better opportunity.

6'6" Milik Yarbrough, who was a Bradley recruit at one time, spent the last 2 seasons at St. Louis, where he was an immediate contributor as a freshman, playing 24 minutes per game and averaging 10.0 ppg and 4.8 rpg. His numbers fell off slightly as a sophomore 7.7 ppg and 4.6 rpg, and he seemed to fall out of the favor of head coach Jim Crews, and played less as the season progressed. Now St. Louis has a new head coach, Travis Ford, and Yarbrough is leaving St. Louis University.

He will make a visit to ISU this weekend, and there is a good chance he will end up transferring there. His father played for ISU.

Two other kids are also leaving Saint Louis and will not play for new head coach Travis Ford..

Miles Reynolds - who was a highly touted kid out of Chicago that Bradley looked at once, is leaving and will transfer to Pacific.

6-9 forward Brett Jolly is also transferring
SLU has signed a couple incoming DI transfers
