BU says no to Williams

My head is a whirlwind!!!! So are the people saying SS is transfering wrong? Are we getting another recruit? When will we know about the walk-on?? AHHHHH

Williams

Williams

That blows, I was really looking forward to seeing him in a Bradley uniform. We've had a couple of punches to the gut the last few days, but I think BU will be ok.

What do you think is BU's backup plan?

Theron Wilson appears to be a similar type of player...so his signing today makes a lot of sense now that DeAaron is out.

I don't think losing DeAaron is too much of a 'punch to the gut' in the sense that I think everyone close to the program knew this announcement was almost inevitable for a long time now...

Fears, Williams gone.....Austin, Wilson in. Backup plan is allready in place.

Not surprised but sad that a local did not get on to the Hilltop......but at least now things are starting to make sense! :-o I sure am glad I'm not keeping the scholarship grid updated!

Thanks, sounds good...I think. It's starting to get a little confusing with all the new guys and players leaving. I saw both Fears and Williams play in H.S. and I was excited to seem them together at BU. Oh well.

Hope he keeps his head about him and ends up graduating from ICC. For him hope its a question of his academics compared to entering BU and not a question of whether he will or wont make it out of ICC.

If he doenst graduate for ICC, I doubt there is anywhere he can go.

BU did everything they could do and the fault lies in one corner only.

I agree with the contingent that is upset we won't get to see him on the hilltop, I think that he would have been a great addition, a drive and kick or score type of player. I know basketball isn't everything and agree that this kid had his opportunity and didn't get the job done, but I would love for him to get his academics in order and join the team even for one year.

Well that really sucks. Things are kind of unfolding for us these last few days. So, what was the final word on JF? I couldn't follow all those posts.
