BU @ siu...

Brutal.

Sorry Bradley Loyalists. I turned the game off a while ago. Just brutal.

Where's even a glimpse of the team that had a 25 point lead on these guys at home.

Just brutal.

I don't want the players and coaches to think it is about them. It's about me. I couldn't take any more.

Brutal.

That's why I always said to take wins in stride and don't brag over every little good thing the team you root for does. An old Cub fan once told me that there's nothing as old as yesterday's newspaper and that's the only smart thing he ever told me when it came to sports.

Don't see me quoting you, just making a general point.

You quoted me to make a post.

That's all.

I was just trying to clear my name.

Made it closer than it really was....a game I did not think we would win...but wish we wold have played a little better........like Free Throws......wow

68-62 final

68-62 or 68-42... pathetic.

So bad I couldn't watch anymore. That's bad. As I can watch them when they are "bad"... but tonight they were absolutely over the limit for me. I punish myself other ways often enough, I don't need punishment in my "enjoyment" time.

key stats....
bad...
20 TO's
9-19 on FTs
3-13 on 3
17 pts in the 1st half

good...
16 rbs for TW
45 pts in the 2nd half

Well I thought we would lose this game. If we wanted to be conference champs this is a game we need to win. Now we have to win a road game at isu, Drake, or Northern Iowa. All games I expect to lose on the road. Maybe I should not even think of conference championships and just hope we show improvement and talent till next year. I don't know. It's a shame because the Valley is really bad this year and there for the taking.

There's a long ways to go Camelot. Relax, take a deep breath, and get ready for the next game. Everything will be OK -- Don't worry. Be happy :)

Well I am sorry MM but if it isn't the players and coach's, WHO, the fans:!:
I do agree with everything else you said totally:!: BRUTAL, that is a understatement for the first 30 min's. of the game:!::-x If you won't, I will call the players and the coach's out, there is JUST NO REASON to not get up for and good ball for this game. Did they have any idea what this game meant:!::roll: This and the Creighton game maybe killers. Better get some heads out of their butts before NI Wed:!: BRUTAL and JUST INEXCUSABLE:evil:

Please, this is not the first team to play poorly on the road against a good team. I would have liked to see a win, but SIUs defense had something to do with the turnovers and poor shooting in the first half. Give them some credit. Bradley did not quit, and played hard until the end.

You had me until the SIU is a "good" team line...because they aren't!

And also, BU had most to do with the turnovers because most were unforced...

Yes they played hard at the end, however, if they'd played hard at the beginning, it may have ended differently...

Also, I once again keep hearing an echo of "they weren't ready to play"...it seems to me that this lies on the coach...and then once its out of his hands to prepare them, its up to each player to find a way to get motivated to play 40 and play 40 hard...

Unfortunately, I'm just not seeing that in some players as some just flat out show up only when they want to...and thats sad for the players like Theron, Darian, and Dodie who seem to bust their butts every single game...and no, I'm not mentioning any names as we all can figure out by watching who these players are...

Its just something that should be said, but hopefully will not be repeated the rest of the season...

A tough loss considering 2 teams have already won in Carbondale...possibly more later on, and those two will more than likely finish in front of Bradley...

We now need to go out and get 2-3 more road wins somewhere else and not lose anymore at home...

A tough task indeed.

We start again on Wednesday.
