Bradley (4-2-1) soccer plays Central Arkansas (2-4-1) tonight at Shea Stadium at 7:00 pm.

The game will be on WZPN radio 96.5 FM.

Bradley will debut their new video streaming system. The Newtek Tricaster is a "system that allows a three-camera shoot and graphics on the enhanced video stream". It should be available at www.bradleybraves.com, though I don't see anything about it on the website right now. If anyone has more information, let us know. Will this new system be used for streaming home basketball?

Here is a link to a little more information about this new Newtek Tricaster system-

And a demo of this video system-

I'm sure Derek Oddo will be on this thread soon (hopefully!) with an update on that. Seems to be his cup of tea... :)

That's certainly interesting technology created from a small computer. For those who did not watch the demo, you should.

Begs a serious question though, where is all this new technology leading us and is it going to be good or bad. I'm not smart enough to know but I hope that reality and virtuality don't eventually become confused.

I watched the demo, and it is amazing. It is now possible to produce a high quality show like ESPN Sportscenter does, but without a studio, where everything down to the finest detail is computer generated.

Bradley has dominated this game and FINALLY scored a second goal. It's 2-0 with 22 minutes left in the game. This one should be in the bag. But I'd like to see 2 more goals.... :)

Another quick goal..... 4-0............ It's now FINAL :)

Good quality broadcast and video. I hope basketball is just as clear. Good job!!

Was it ESPN and Horizon League quality?

I would definately say it was NOT as good as ESPN 360. And, it was probably slightly lower quality than Horizon League (though it has been awhile so it may have been equal to Horizon).

Regardless, it was DEFINATELY better than what we had for last year's basketball games. I would have absolutely NO problem if this is the quality we get this year for b-ball. It was a quality broadcast. :)
