Heroic effort by Drake who was missing their head coach, 2 assistant coaches, and 4 players, including their 2nd and 3rd leading scorers, due to the head coach testing positive for Covid after Friday's game, and the others qualified for isolation due to contact tracing.

Nice job..hope coach gets a bonus for great coaching and recruiting!

The woman's selection show will be on ESPN at 6:00 on Monday. Will be curious to see where BU is seeded. At 17-11 I would imagine anywhere between 12-14. They would be in trouble if they face a big presence inside otherwise they have good enough shooting to be competitive.

The Bradley women are a #11 seed, and will play #6 seed Texas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The game is Monday 3/22, at 7:00 p.m. in San Antonio, and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

All the games will be played in San Antonio, in 4 "Regionals"- Alamo, Hemisfair, Mercado, and River Walk.
Bradley is in the Hemisfair Region. That region's top 4 teams are South Carolina, Maryland, UCLA< and West Virginia.

A #11 seed is better than most expected!

Missouri State is a #5 seed and matched against #12 seed UC Davis, the champions of the Big West Conference.

The one other women's post-season tournament, the Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) includes Loyola in their 8-team bracket-

Bradley was a participant in the first WBI in 2010. They had an impressive upset at Louisville, but then lost at College of Charleston in the quarterfinals.

Bradley also participated in the 2012 WBI and made it to the quarterfinals-

Texas has 4 players who average in double figures and features one of the best players in the country in 6' 5" Charli Collier who averages 20.1 points and 11.7 rebounds a game. She's expected to go #1 in the WNBA draft. 9 of their players have started a game this season and the team averages 69.9 a game and give up 62.8. They have a +3 rebound margin and force almost 20 turnovers a game. Their last 2 loses were close games to #2 seed Baylor. Not the easiest draw but if BU can limit their turnovers, don't let Collier go off and shoot the 3 they could have a chance.

Great news. Gabi leaving would have left a huge hole in our offense. If I recall correctly she is majoring in education and a masters would be quite useful in her chosen field.

Nice to hear some good news from BU! As long as she doesn't get hurt Gabi will end next season as BU's women's all time leading scorer.
