Butler

Watched Butler play Wisconsin-GB last night. Wisc.-GB couldn't stop Butler's freshman center, Howard, either, as he had his way inside scoring 22 points. The kid is so fundamentally sound from the blocks. Oh, how I wish we had someone like him.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Bulldogs 3 point specialist is struggling out there, having missed something like 19 in a row. He compensated, however, by getting the ball to Howard alot. He ended up with 13 points.
Love watching Butler play. So very sound. Remind me of the way basketball used to be played.

We might have had him!
I recall hearing a year ago that Jim Les was recruiting Matt Howard and really liked him. He would have been great in a Bradley uniform, too.
Howard wanted to go to Indiana U., but Sampson didn't think he was good enough for them, so he settled for Butler.

hahaha I bet Sampson regrets that one and as well he should.

I saw the last 10 minutes of this game also, at one point Graves made a turnover and the announcer said that is Butler's first turnover in over 10 minutes. Later Butler had a couple turnovers and Green Bay had a shooter knock down a couple threes to get it close and Butler just shut the door on him even getting the ball and won the game.

Butler does not turn it over much, play great defense, rebound, and hit free throws. I would hate to be a BCS coach and get them in the early round of the tourney.
