Can someone please explain something to me.

We teach our guys to block out instead of going for the ball when rebounding, Egolf blocked out Fay after a miss by backing him all the way into the SIU bench instead of going after the ball which in turn let another Siu player come in a get a rebound that fell to the floor.

You see that alot...a guy has his weight going into a guy and he pushes his opponent along with himself too far....that is where you should have another team mate step in as you as the defense should have people in better positions...right?

blahmmm

Just go after the ball...look at Wichita and Missouri State...they send many after the glass...we send 1 guy to box out, 3 guys to the concession stand, and 1 guy to the restroom....ie you get my point here...

well they won't have to wait long since those lines are dwindling.....someone said a few of the restrooms weren't even open for the SIU game....that's not typical of a BU rival

One thing I noticed that CRACKED me up. Walking through the concourse at halftime, maybe one or two people at each line of the concession stand, except the Braves Club "express" line, which had at least 6 in it. Now, I am not a smart man, but either A) those people are dumb, or 2) they want to be noticed as members of the Braves Club.

LOL. That is believable to me. number 2 that is.

I didn't know they had an express line till now.

It's like my weekly trip to the EP Wal-Mart. . .the lines in the outer "Express Check-out" lanes are always backed up (many times with people well over the item limit) but by taking just a few extra steps, many times you'll find 2-3 non-express cashiers in the center open with nobody in line, just gabbing away.

I have taken advantage of the line several times. You receive free popcorn, pop, and coffee. Wouldn't you take advantage of the benefits they have to offer if you were a member? Honestly, what is so bad about being part of a club that supports Bradley Athletics. Isn't that why we are there in the first place?

I have like 300 dollars in my savings and spend it all on golf equipment and beer.

How do you identify yourself as a Braves Club member?

Secret handshake? Password? Finger Scan?

I want to sneak into it and benefit.

Terrific! You have $300. That is just enough to join at that level!! You receive a card in the mail and show it at the line. No secret handshake. It isn't a cult or anything just a bunch of people proud to help out student athletes and if you drink as much pop as I do then it is well worth it. Plus you get a discount for all the Braves Club events AND pre-game parties with free adult beverages. lj

I have no problem with the club and the perks in entails, but can't they go to any line and get the free stuff? Do they have to wait in the long line?

lol. i went to one pre game party underneath in the old room when i was little.

I wanted to join I-fund. minimum for Illinois is only $100! That gets you 7th on the ticket priority list rather than 8th like the General public...
