Carp hurt grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

He's turning into Mark Prior. This is a nuisance. He is extremely unhealthy and unlucky if he pulls a ribcage taking a simple swing. Just one healthy season is all I ask for, just like with Bradley nowadays.

This is disgusting....

1. We lose a game AGAIN in the late innings

2. We lose Carp for at least 5 starts minimum...book it

injuries injuries injuries....can we please get a single person in the bullpen that can go 2 innings without giving up a run...it's EFFING infuriating

I think it'll be more like eight starts, but I hope it's not that many. Anyways, 0-1 with his replacement so far. :(

Cardinals have the best record in baseball at 12-5. Hopefully, Boggs can do some good against the Cubs tomorrow and bring us to 1-1 in Carp's missed starts.

Cardinals on their way to going 2-1 in Carpenter's missed starts and still with the best record in baseball at 16-7.

Bonus.....Cubbies well on their way to going under .500 and remaining in 5th place, 5 games out of 1st and just 1.5 games ahead of Houston for last place. Bulls win a thriller to force game seven!

Today was a good day! :D

When/if Carp comes back who gets sent to the bullpen? Boggs or Wellemeyer

Let's hope tonight with Wellemeyer pitching it doesnt mean an automatic loss.

Are you saying that about the cubs or the cardinals...because we aren't making excuses...we're still WINNING without Carp..like we did last season.

It should be very very scarey to people that if we ever get a healthy starting lineup it would look like this

Carpenter
Wainwright
Lohse
Pineiro
Boggs/Wellemeyer

The only real weak link lately is Wellemeyer and Wainwright will get it together soon.

The cubs are the ones losing due to injuries..not the cards

Also, who's not winning championships???? Because that answer is most definitely the Cubs.

Here's a picture Lou will never ever be able to go through with the cubs

Look at that...all happy with champagne. Don't the cubs wish they could enjoy that. It's truly fun to watch. But alas, Cubs fans will never get to.

Exactly, the Cubs fans I know will waste no time telling you that Ramirez is hurt. He's missed six games so far! STL's starting 3B hasn't played yet this season, not to mention the three missed starts (so far) from Carpenter. In fact, the Cubs may be better off without Zambrano right now since he's in a battle for the worst ERA among their starters.

Boggs needs to take over for Wellemeyer now. You can almost guarantee a loss with Welley now and we need to cut our loses and get as many wins out of May as possible. Welley just doesn't have it anymore and Boggs did very well in Carps absence...time to give him a try. Maybe put wellemeyer in the bullpen...that could always use some help.

well usually does not start a game well, and usually has one or two good innings. I say send him down and let him get some minor league work in.
