George Mason leads Ole Miss 33-32 at halftime of game 1.

Neither of these two teams seems exceptionally talented or to have outstanding shooters. Too bad Bradley couldn't have been matched up against a team like these, instead of an elite Top 10 team like Virginia.

But the most noticeable thing is that the officials working this game are not anywhere near as active as the whistle-happy officials we have seen so far. Mississippi has been called for 7 fouls, and George Mason for just 4 in the first half. And there have been a total of just 7 free thjrows in the first half, all by George Mason.

I hope these officials stay around Charleston for the whole weekend, and do Bradley's games. :)

Yes, Ole Miss loses their game to George Mason 68-63. The total combined number of fouls (28 ) is fewer than Bradley has averaged all by themselves in their 2 games.
If Bradley loses to Virginia, their second round opponent will be Mississippi on Friday. Bradley is currently 24 point underdogs in their game tonight.

In the second game this afternoon, Oklahoma State is beating Towson State, 32-21 at halftime-
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=400826222

Even that game does not have the constant foul calls we've seen. There have been 16 personal fouls called, 7 against OK State, and 9 against Towson, and no player has more than 2.
Oklahoma State opened as 4 point favorites in Vegas, but a lot of betters must have thought that was too small a margin, so heavy money went on OK State. The line moved all the way up to 8.5 points before tipoff.
Oklahoma State is lead by 13 points from 5th year grad transfer Chris Olivier. That is a familiar name, since he was recruited by Bradley head coach Jim Les out of high school in Chicago. he spent 1 season at Northern Iowa, and transferred and played 2 seasons at Eastern Illinois.

If Bradley loses why would they play Ole Miss next instead of the Long Beach-Seton Hall loser? It looks like they bracketed purposely so Ole Miss and Virginia wouldn't have met until the final with them at opposite sides of the bracket. If BU does play Ole Miss next that's bogus "bracketing"

You are right...I got that wrong. Forgive me for the confusion. If Bradley loses (Game 4) they will play the loser of Long Beach State-Seton Hall (Game 3).

In Game 3- Long Beach State took a lead just before halftime, and never relinquished it. The seemed in control most of the 2nd half, but Seton Hall closed to 78-77 with 10 seconds left, but LBSU added 2 free throws, and SHU missed a 3-pointer to tie at the buzzer.

Game 4- Bradley vs. Virginia is scheduled to start at 8:30 PM CST

The game is on ESPN2 and on ESPN3.com-

In the games today-

Friday, Nov. 20 Second Round Charleston Classic games
Game 5 12:00 p.m. CST George Mason vs. Oklahoma State (ESPNU)
Game 6 2:30 p.m. CST Ole Miss vs. Towson (ESPN3)
Game 7 6:00 p.m. CST Seton Hall vs. BRADLEY (ESPN3)
Game 8 8:30 p.m. CST Long Beach State vs. #6 Virginia (ESPNU)

One interesting fact- if Bradley can upset Seton Hall today, and if Ole Miss can beat Towson, as is expected, then Bradley would play in the 5th place game against Ole Miss at 2:30 PM CST Sunday. Bradley's next 2 scheduled games are home games against New Orleans on Wed. Nov. 25, and Ole Miss on Saturday, Nov. 28. So in that scenario, Bradley would play 2 games against Ole Miss within a 3 game span and within 8 days.
